How to start taking Daily Essential Nutrients
Adults: The recommended dose is 4 capsules, 3 times a day, or if you are taking the powder, 1 scoop of powder 3 times a day. Take with food.

Start by taking 1 capsule 3 times a day
Each day or every other day (based on how you are feeling) increase by 1 capsule. So day 2, 2 caps 3 times a day and so one till you get to the maximum dosage.
Children: In general the following is recommended (by Hardy's Nutritionals) for children diagnosed with pyschiatric condition. This is based on published research and clinicl experience.
2-3 years: Work up to 4 capsules (or powder equivalent of 1 scoop) per day, take with food
4-5 years: Work up to 8 capsules/day (or 2 scoops of powder) with food
6 yrs or older: Work up to 12 caps/per day or 3 scoops powder, with food.
With children always monitor with a doctor, individual needs may vary depending on body weight or other factors.
The unflavored powder or flavored powder is a great way to take the DEN if you are your children struggle with swallowing pills. The powder mixes easily with just about anything from smoothies, puddings, applesauce, yougurt, peanut butter, nutella, ketchup...Yah I know some of that sounds gross but it worked!
